THE END OF A LONG DAY

On January 2, 2003, we cycled 115 km, our longest day thus far. With the wind at our backs. We were reaching speeds of 35 km/hr on the flats. We met our first group of touring cyclists. They were from the Melbourne Cycling Club. We swapped head and tail wind stories then we were off in different directions. We soon arrived at Lakes Entrance, Victoria, where we would meet up with the Killeen and Rastas families. It was was great seeing our Christmas and New Years families one more time!
