While touring the Narana Creations Aboriginal Interpretive Centre, Norm Stanley, Education Coordinator, gave us a concert with one of the many didgeridoos. This musical instrument was used in Aboriginal ceremonies.

Aboriginal culture has existed for at least 40,000 years. This makes it the oldest continuing culture in the world. It is deeply spiritual and suffused with an intimate connection to the land, its flora and fauna, the tribal ancestors and the mystical time/place that is the Dreaming. It’s only been the last two decades that the Western World has begun to understand Aboriginal art, but now it is appreciated worldwide.
