END OF THE TRAIL

Seaside Oregon marked the end of the trail for the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1805-06. This is the location where members of the expedition spent the winter of 1806 boiling sea water to make salt for the return trip to St. Louis. However, the McFarlands expedition will continue northward for another 200 miles reaching Silverdale, Washington on June 21. We are joined by Seaside resident, tour guide and life-long friend, Sister Jeri Renner. Thank you so much Sr. Jeri, for the great dinner and tour! The bumper boats were a blast…. we must ride them again!
